Terms & Conditions

Please read our retreat terms and conditions carefully before booking a retreat.

These terms will constitute the entire agreement between Respira Life and the client and will constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written; representation, warranty, prior agreement, or description of services, other than as expressed herein.

The contract and booking is made with, and services are provided by Respira Life Retreats. By booking a retreat you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions that govern the relationship, the cancellation policy and limitations of liability.

The Retreat Contract

All persons wishing to make a booking have carefully read and understand the terms and conditions that follow. By making a booking with Respira Life, you accept on behalf of yourself and all those named on the booking, to be bound by these terms and conditions. A booking is accepted and becomes confirmed only from the date Respira Life sends a confirmation email, and when you have completed the deposit payment.

Payment Policy

For all Respira Life Retreats, a non-refundable deposit of £500 per person plus submission of our online booking form is required to complete your booking.

The remaining balance will be paid either in total or in two instalments, 50% (minus the deposit) 90 days prior to the event and a second payment of the same amount 30 days before the retreat starts.

If the final balance is not received by the due date, then your booking cannot be guaranteed and Respira Life reserves the right to cancel your booking and you will forfeit your deposit.

Please note deposits made on all bookings are non-refundable due to the requirement to purchase non-refundable and non-transferable essentials including but not limited to; accommodation reservations, etc on your behalf to secure your place on the retreat.

Refund/Cancellation

We understand that unexpected events can affect your plans.

If you notify us 90 days or more before the retreat start date, the deposit can be transferred to another Respira Life retreat taking place within one calendar year.

If you cancel more than 45 days before the retreat start date, you may request a partial refund (less a cancellation fee equal to the deposit).

All retreat payments become non-refundable less than 45 days before the retreat start date.

You may also transfer the balance to a friend if you can’t make it.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Euros and payable in Euros or Pounds Sterling (at current conversion rate) depending on your preference.

Not included in the price of your travel arrangement are flights, transport, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, tipping and any additional treatments, excursions or activities which are not confirmed as being part of your retreat arrangements unless specifically stated.

Medical Conditions/Special Requirements

Clients must inform Respira Life on our registration form of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any mental/physical condition which may affect fitness to travel or practice Pilates and other activities. Failure to notify us may result in the client being refused to participate in the retreat or certain activities during the retreat at the client’s own expense.

Respira Life will do its best to meet client special requests including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the contract and therefore Respira Life is not liable for not providing these requests.

Cancellations

Any client cancellations must be made in writing (via email) and be acknowledged by Respira Life in writing (via email).

Under no circumstances is your deposit refundable. Deposits are required to secure bookings.

If you cancel and you have made additional payments to your deposit, your full balance can be rolled over to another Respira Life retreat within one calendar year.

Cancellation of a Retreat by Respira Life

Respira Life reserves the right to cancel any retreat for any reason, but will not cancel a retreat less than 30 days before the retreat start date except for unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside of Respira Life’s control. If a retreat is cancelled by Respira Life before the agreed date of departure for any reason other than the fault of the client, the client can either:

Transfer their deposit to another retreat taking place within two calendar years, or receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract as soon as possible.

Respira Life is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the client may have incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, non-refundable flights, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, etc. If the client is offered a refund but requests an alternate retreat of a higher value than that originally booked, then the client must pay the difference in price.

Force Majeure

Respira Life shall not be responsible for not fulfilling its contractual obligations to the extent that the failure to fullfill is due to events out of its control such as a pandemic, acts of God, fire, flood, cancellation of flights due to adverse weather conditions, war, acts of terrorism, governmental actions and any similar events. In such force majeure events, no refund shall be granted and all payments will be credited in the form of a voucher valid for two years form the start date of the cancelled retreat.

Retreat Changes

Respira Life reserves the right to alter retreat programmes, accommodation, teacher and itineraries due to weather, illness, trip conditions or other circumstances. No refunds will be made in these cases.
